NCO Scholarship Winner - Natalie Zimmerman (Windsor High School)

– Tuesday, August 09, 2016 –

This year I was thrilled to award an outstanding female high school senior at Windsor High School with a $500 college scholarship!

It was an absolute pleasure to give the award to Natalie Zimmerman, a student who demonstrates excellence in the field of science and health science.  I had a group of amazing young women apply for the scholarship this year – what an incredible school and community you have here in Windsor!  This year’s recipient is a standout student-athlete who has demonstrated incomparable dedication and hard work.  In addition to being top-ranked in her class, she also had an outstanding ACT score with a nearly perfect science score.  She plans to pursue a career as a cardio-thoracic surgeon and will attend Colorado School of Mines in the fall.

I was very lucky to be able to achieve my dream of becoming an orthodontist and I am honored to award a scholarship to an outstanding student who plans to continue to pursue studies in health science.  Congrats!
